Thankfully no damage was done – not that an extra week of just another serving of veggies would have hurt anything. But I am just a TAD excited about introducing fruit this week.
Sadly, this does not count as fruit:
Sucks. I mean, it’s MADE with fruit.
But I did get to start my week o’ fruity delights with a slice of watermelon after running the Baltimore Women’s Classic with my friend Amanda. Boy, let me tell you, this was my hardest race to date, and this person is the reason why.
But I am so glad I had my fun in Annapolis and tortured myself at the Baltimore Women’s Classic. I finally got to meet another Medifast employee and Twitter pal, Dianne (who brought me some epic Medifast swag!). And I got to spend some quality time with Amanda as she celebrated her run-iversary by finishing the BWC for the second year in a row. Last but not least, I came home with mystery bruises all over my arms and legs as a souvenir of my time spent with Ellen. Mystery bruises are always a sign of a good time had by all. If you don’t come out of a weekend away from home without an injury then you are doing something wrong! Am I right?
