Christian and I often talk over IM (when he is home) or via text message when he is at work. Usually it’s little things like ‘We need milk’ or talking about our favorite morning show, Preston & Steve, as we listen to it. Every once in awhile, we have conversations that truly demonstrate what a couple of sickos we are.
This is one of my favorites from January of last year:
christianB: (2:46:20 PM) hmm., not sure i should tell you this

mommabrown: (2:50:32 PM) shut up!
We took a trip to Milburn Orchards on Sunday. It was Izzy’s first trip to a pumpkin patch. She enjoyed it so much she slept through most of it!
We had a great day but didn’t buy any pumpkins. At fifty-nine cents a pound, I think I’ll pass thanks. Besides, if I get a pumpkin I will just be tempted to put Izzy inside of it.
I’ve been meaning to start this blog for a while. I am about 3 months late. But I figure as long as I got this thing started before Izzy became a freshman in college, then it’s all good.
So let’s do the short version of the story up till now.
I got my BFP (big fat positive) on October 26, 2007.
9 months of anxiety, joy, anxiety, excitement, anxiety, anxiety and then there was the barfing and more anxiety.
